The good news? There’s no need to take the Eurostar to discover this exceptional single malt. A dedicated pop-up store showcasing the legendary whiskies of the brand has just opened at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche. This unique collaboration between The Macallan and the renowned sisters, Stella and Mary McCartney, responds to a clear and beautiful desire: to pay tribute to Scotland, a rich and wild land. The Highlands boast vibrant, almost prehistoric landscapes, teeming with natural resources where one of the most exquisite elixirs is created: whisky. The Macallan distillery is one of the most renowned leaders in this field, thanks to its expertise and ancestral heritage. It symbolizes luxury but also a commitment to respecting and protecting nature. In this eco-responsible spirit, the annual limited series of Harmony whiskies celebrates Scottish nature, its captivating scents, and fragrances.
The Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche pop-up, not far from our Consultants Immobilier agency located at 89 Rue Saint-Dominique, Paris 7th, will be open until January 5, 2024, at 24 Rue de Sèvre in Paris’ 7th arrondissement. What’s on the agenda? The quality, craftsmanship, and innovation that have made The Macallan renowned for over two centuries. Enthusiasts and newcomers alike can explore an exquisite selection of whiskies, including the great classics: The Macallan Double Cask 12, 15, 18, and 30 years old.
The exceptional single malt, “The Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow,” is priced at 225€. In homage to nature, the bottle label and presentation box are made from cuttings sourced from meadows.
A Journey
and a Successful Collaboration.
Stella, an internationally renowned vegan fashion designer, and Mary, an incredibly talented photographer, wanted to combine their skills and creativity to celebrate their love for Scotland, where they spent their family vacations as children. Honeysuckle, chamomile, minerality, ferns… All the beauty of this unspoiled flora is reflected in the « Amber Prairie » whiskey, which boasts a complex flavor profile with notes of citrus, almonds, and scones, presented in an amber-hued robe reminiscent of a warm summer evening. The two artists have also created an exclusive line of accessories to accompany this tasting, featuring their own logo designed solely for this project! Handcrafted glasses, apple leather flask, and cozy plaid are part of this limited-edition assortment named “TOGETHER”. ■
This collection pays homage to the warm memories of the McCartney sisters for the Scottish lands and marks the 3rd expression in The Harmony Collection’s annual series. The 100% natural color of summer evenings, achieved through aging in sherry-seasoned oak casks or casks that previously held bourbon, reflects the richness of flavors in this single malt, reminiscent of warm meadows and ripe barley fields.
